DEFORM is a specialize* engineering software package *esigne* for the analysis of metal forming processes, thermal an* mechanical processing. DEFORM allows you to check, work out an* optimize processes *irectly at the computer, rather than *uring pro*uction experiments.

Ring Rolling (3D) - a mo*ule for simulating the processes of ring rolling. It can work as a separate mo*ule as well as an application to the DEFORM - 3D mo*ule.
The algorithms of the solution are optimize* for the process of rolling rings. The generator of gri*s of the mo*ule buil*s a gri* of 8-no*e hexahe*ra an*, if necessary, can automatically rearrange it. Provi*es complete information on the progress of the rolling process with the possibility of its visualization.
The results of solving using the Ring Rolling 3D mo*ule for several tasks in comparison with experimental *ata can be foun* here.
Cogging (3D) is an application to the DEFORM - 3D mo*ule for mo*eling hammer pulling processes.
The mo*ule inclu*es a set of stan*ar* geometries of blanks an* a manipulator for pulling. The process parameters are the number of heatings of the workpiece, the or*er of submission an* tilting, the size of the striker, the time between the impact an* the submission. Previewing the simulate* operation helps prevent errors. Provi*es complete information on the progress of the rolling process with the ability to visualize it.
Shape Rolling (3D) - an application to the DEFORM - 3D mo*ule - simulation of rolling processes to prevent the formation of wrinkles in the material, stretch marks, etc. Such processes as the form factor, the amount of movement an* the spee* of the rolls can be optimize*. A simple, step-by-step interface of the mo*ule, a library of stan*ar* blanks an* rolls make it easy to enter the initial *ata for the simulation.
Inverse Property Extraction (2D) - application to the DEFORM - 2D mo*ule, *etermination of the heat transfer coefficient at the boun*ary of the workpiece. A simple, step-by-step interface of the mo*ule helps the user from the input of the source *ata to the final result.
Microstructure (2D or 3D) are applications to the DEFORM - 3D an* DEFORM - 2D mo*ules, respectively, for mo*eling three-*imensional heat treatment processes. Functionally correspon* to the mo*ules DEFORM HT3 an* DEFORM HT2, but, in a**ition, allow you to simulate the microstructural transformations in the workpiece *uring its *eformation.
Machining (2D or 3D) - applications to the DEFORM - 3D an* DEFORM - 2D mo*ules, respectively, for mo*eling machining processes.
Simulation Queue is an option that allows you to automatically perform batch processing of multiple tasks.
To work with a**itional mo*ules, you must have DEFORM - 3D or DEFORM - 2D, respectively.
