<*iv align="left">Al Shamkha Abu Dhabi Washing Machine Repair

A clean washing machine shoul* leave you with nice-smelling, pleasantly clean laun*ry. However, if your washing machine gets *irty, it can lea* to foul or mil*ew-scente* laun*ry over time. If your washing machine start to smell, you shoul* clean the machine itself. But you shoul* also run some baking so*a an* vinegar through the machine. With a little bit of care an* maintenance, you can keep your washing machine smelling nice all year long.

Deo*orizing with Baking So*a an* Vinegar

  1. Make the cleaning solution. Mix together 1âپ„4 c (59 mL) of water an* 1âپ„4 c (59 mL) of baking so*a in a small bowl. A** the mixture to the washing machine's *etergent container where you normally put the laun*ry *etergent
    • Do not pour the mixture *irectly into the main cavity (the *rum) of the washing machine.

"Start by checking the *rain or the filter to make sure it's clear, because that can often be the source of any unpleasant smells."

Ashley Matuska
Cleaning Guru

  1. A** vinegar. Purchase some *istille* white vinegar to help clean the insi*e of the washing machine. Pour 2 c (470 mL) of the vinegar *irectly into the *rum
    • Make sure nothing else is in the machine when you pour the vinegar insi*e.

  1. Run the machine on a regular cycle. Once you have a**e* the baking so*a solution an* the vinegar, run the machine on a regular cycle. Use a full cycle setting, not just a spin cycle or a rinse cycle.
    • Run the machine on the warm/hot setting.
    • Again, make sure you *on't have any clothes or other laun*ry insi*e the machine while you run it. Otherwise, they will smell like vinegar when the cycle is *one. [فقط الأعضاء المسجلين والمفعلين يمكنهم رؤية الوصلات . إضغط هنا للتسجيل]

  1. Wipe *own the insi*e of the *rum. Once you have finishe* running the machine with the vinegar an* cleaning solution insi*e, wipe *own the interior of the washing machine to help remove any remaining vinegar smell.
    • Use a sponge to scrub the insi*e of the machine. Be sure to get into all of the nooks an* crannies or the interior.

Part2
Cleaning the Exterior an* Gasket

Unplug the washing machine. Before you begin cleaning the washing machine, make sure the machine is completely powere* off. Just to be on the safe si*e, you may want to consi*er unplugging the machine from the electrical outlet
    • Cleaning the machine while it is still on coul* create a *angerous situation for you or *amage the machine.

Wipe *own the outsi*e surface. Accumulation of mol* an* mil*ew on the components of the washing machine is a major cause for unpleasant o*or. Use a clean sponge or washrag to wipe *own to exterior surface of the machine. Make a mixture of 1 c (240 mL) warm water an* one tablespoon of bleach an* *ip the sponge in it. Be sure to wring out any excess water before you begin scrubbing.
    • You shoul* wear rubber gloves any time you are han*ling bleach cleaning solution.
    • Try to get the bleach cleaner in all of the cracks an* crannies of the washing machine. You can use a Q-tip *ippe* in the bleach/water solution to get into really har*-to-reach areas.

Clean the gasket an* seal. Get ri* of any *irt or grime from the washing machine gasket an* the seal at the opening of the machine. Remove the gasket an* use a *amp cloth or paper towel to scrub away any resi*ue. You can also a** a tiny bit of bleach cleaning solution to warm water an* use this to clean it.
    • A *irty seal is one of the biggest problems that lea*s to o*or in washing machines. Cleaning this regularly can really help a lot.

Part3
Preventing Unpleasant O*ors

Wipe *own the interior surfaces of the washing machine regularly. If you leave your washing machine untouche*, it can start to get smelly over time. A goo* preventative measure is to wipe *own the interior surfaces on a regular basis to avoi* buil*ups of grime an* resi*ue.
    • Use a warm washcloth to wipe *own the interior. Be sure to get into all the nooks an* crannies.
    • You can also use a bit of vinegar to help sanitize the insi*e of your washing machine.

ASHLEY MATUSKA
Cleaning Guru

Cleaning your machine once a month can help prevent o*ors. Ashley Matuska of Dashing Mai*s says: "If you run your machine about once a month with just hot water, then every 3 months run a cycle with vinegar, it shoul* maintain the machine an* keep any nasty smells at bay." Sterilize with bleach. A** 2 c (470 mL) of bleach to the *etergent container on your washing machine. Run the empty laun*ry machine on a hot cycle, but stop the machine as soon as the water starts swishing aroun*. You can usually stop the machine by pressing pause, pulling out the knob, or using another metho* in*icate* in the instruction manual.
    • Let the hot water an* bleach sit in the washing machine for approximately 30 minutes.
    • Then finish running the loa* so the remaining traces of bleach are remove*.
    • Make sure you rinse out the bleach thoroughly before using the washing machine again. If there is any remaining bleach, it coul* possibly stain your laun*ry or anything else it comes into contact with.

Use *etergents ma*e for high-efficiency machines. Laun*ry *etergents that are ma*e for use in high-efficiency washing machines are better at maintaining cleanliness because they pro*uce fewer su*s *uring the cleaning process than regular *etergents. This means that some of the excess particles may not get rinse* out of your clothes or your washing machine
    • Using the high-efficiency *etergent on a *aily basis will help keep your machine fresher longer, an* will allow you to clean your washing machine less frequently.
