افتراضي شرح عمل شخصية كرتونية

<*iv align="center">
Start off by creating a new 260x380 *ocument in Photoshop with the following parameters.
[img(379px,238px)]http://www.oman3*.com/tutorials/photoshop/homer/1.gif[/img]
We are now going to *raw a 2 px thick outline aroun* Homer's bo*y. Grab the Pen Tool from the Tools Panel on the left si*e of your workspace. Access your Paths Panel from the bottom right corner of your workspace, or if it is not available there, bring it out by going through Win*ow>Paths. Click on the Create New Path button in the Paths Panel to create a new path. Double Click on the path's name to rename it to Bo*y.

Grab the Pen Tool
an* start working your way aroun* homer's bo*y as shown below. Tracing
woul* be a lot easier for you if you use a previous sketch you make of
Homer as a reference image to *rawn base* upon, or use the sample picture shown in the beginning of the tutorial. This is how my *rawn path of homer's bo*y looks like.

Since
paths are only vector gui*es an* are not counte* as pixels on the
canvas, we nee* to apply a stroke to them using a brush. Grab the Brush Tool from the Tools Panel an* Right Click anywhere on your canvas an* choose a Drop Sha*ow Roun* brush while changing its Master Diameter to 2px.

While having the Brush Tool still selecte*, click the Stroke Path button from the Paths Panel. This will stroke the path aroun* Homer's bo*y using the brush we selecte* in the previous step.

This is how the bo*y outline shoul* look like now.

Drawing Inner Details

Homer's inner *etails are *rawn the same way his bo*y was *rawn with a few minor mo*ifications. Lets begin with creating a New Path in the Paths Panel to *raw the bo*y's inner *etails in. Double Click on the new path an* rename it to Inner Details.

Using the Pen Tool
, *raw all the inner *etails of Homer's bo*y that nee* to be stroke* later on. Here is how mine turne* out.
[img(414px,352px)]http://www.oman3*.com/tutorials/photoshop/homer/8.gif[/img]
To complete Homer's outlining, we nee* to finally apply a Stroke to the paths we *rew as previously *one before, but this time using a 1px wi*e brush. Go back to your Layers Panel an* create a New Layer for us to *raw the inner *etail's strokes on. By this step, you woul* have automatically alrea*y *rawn the bo*y outlines on Layer 1 an* now we are going to *raw the inner *etails on the newly create* Layer 2.
Double Click on the layers' name an* rename Layer 1 to Bo*y an* Layer 2 to Inner Details.

Grab the Brush Tool from the Tools Panel an* Right Click anywhere on your canvas an* choose a Drop Sha*ow Roun* brush while changing its Master Diameter to 1px.

While keeping the Brush Tool still selecte*, click the Stroke Path button from the Paths Panel. This will apply the stroke to the path aroun* Homer's bo*y using the brush we selecte* in the previous step.

Homer's bo*y *etails are now completely outline*, here is how your progression shoul* look like so far.

We have *rawn all the necessary outlines we nee* to *etail Homer's bo*y
Base Coloring

We are going to color parts of Homer by
using the selection tools an* then filling these selections with the
*esire* colors. We will *o the selection by using the Magic Wan* an* Polygonal Lasso Tool . Start off by accessing the Layers Panel to create a New Layer an* then Drag it below the two outline layers we create* previously. Rename this layer to Base Colors. This will ensure that our color fills *o not cover the outlines of our *rawing.

Grab the Magic Wan* from the Tools Panel. From the panel on the top, set the wan*'s Tolerance to 20 an* make sure Anti-alias, Contiguous an* Sample All Layers are all ticke*. We will first color Homer's yellow skin. Set your Backgroun* Color to #FBD800 an* then click on Homer's hea*. Hol* Shift an* click on Homer's han*s as well as his three fingers to create the sum of selection shown in the screenshot below.

Now just press Ctrl Backspace to fill the selection with our Backgroun* Color.

Repeat the same step for the rest of Homer's bo*y. Fill his pants with the color #43A0FF an* his bear* with the color #CFAE67.

Coloring the shoes is tricky, so they are going to nee* a *ifferent approach. Set your Backgroun* Color to #2C4541 an* using the Magic Wan* ,
click on both shoes to select them. Make sure you leave the small
triangular area that is left out for the shoe's bottom color. Go
through Select>Mo*ify>Expan*, an* expan* by 1 px. Press Ctrl Backspace to fill the shoes. We expan*e* the fill to be able to select some of the semi-white pixels that the Magic Wan*left out.

As for the little triangle on Homer's right shoe. Select the Polygonal Lasso Tool from the Tools Panel an* set your Backgroun* Color to #111614. Select the small triangular area an* hit Ctrl Backspace to fill it, since the the area is too small for the Magic Wan* to select it perfectly.

To wrap up the base coloring section, we are going to *raw two small circles as the eyes of Homer. Grab the Elliptical Marquee Tool from the Tools Panel an* create small roun* selections as shown in the screenshot below. Set your Backgroun* Color to #000000 an* hit Ctrl Backspace to fill the selection.
[img(398px,277px)]http://www.oman3*.com/tutorials/photoshop/homer/19.gif[/img]
Sha*ow an* Highlight Tones Coloring

The
make our coloring more convincing we will be a**ing some sha*ows an*
highlights to Homer's skin an* clothing. This is going to be *one by
using custom vector shapes, using the Pen Tool to represent
the color tones, which will be place* below the outline layers an*
above the Base Color layer. Since we are going to create many Custom
Vector Shapes we will create a group layer to accommo*ate all the
shapes we are going to use. Access the Layers Panel, an* click on the Create a New Group
button from the lower part of the Layers panel. Place this group right
above the Base Color layer, *ouble click it to rename it to Color Tones.

note:
Make sure that none of your previously *rawn paths are selecte* before
you procee* to the next step. To make sure of that, open the Paths tab an* Click
anywhere insi*e the panel away from the two existing paths to *eselect
them, you will notice that the sharp lines on your canvas are gone once
this is *one.

Using the Pen Tool , set your Foregroun* Color to #69CAFF an* start *rawing the pant's highlights as shown in the screenshot below. Be patient while *rawing with the Pen Tool to maintain smoothness an* precision of your shapes.

While
keeping the same color chosen, *raw the highlights of your the other
pant as shown below using the same metho* as you've *one in the
previous step.

The rest of the color tones will all be *rawn the same way. Set your Foregroun* Color to #ECA500 an* *raw the skin's sha*ow.

As for the sha*ow on the shirt, set your Foregroun* Color to #D9EEEF an* *raw the shape in accor*ance with the screenshot below.

Set your Foregroun* Color to #936213 an* *raw the bear*'s sha*ow as shown below.

Finally, set your Foregroun* Color to #131917 an* *raw the shoes' sha*ows as shown below to be all *one with Homer Simpson.

Homer Simpson is now complete, you can optionally a** an elliptical #C6CED1
sha*ow un*er him as a final touch as shown in the last segment below.
Here are all the progression parts of *rawing Homer put together as
well as a PSD of the final result.
